Description
The Fenix HT30R is a USB-C rechargeable high-performance white output LEP torch. A Class 1 laser stimulates a fluorescent crystal to create a broad-spectrum white light, allowing this flashlight to throw a jaw-dropping distance of 1500 metres. As compared to a standard LED flashlight, the LEP light produces a more focused tight beam. A tactical tail switch operates on/off and momentary on, while a functional tail switch operates the two lighting modes and instant strobe. Using the included 21700 Li-ion battery, it can be charged continuously via a hidden USB Type-C port. Other features include a battery level indicator and it is IP68 rated dustproof and waterproof. The Fenix HT30R flashlight is ideal for hunting, search and rescue, and other applications that require distance. 1.5km throw USB-C rechargeable LEP torch!

Incredible LEP
I was lucky enough to purchase the HT30R on sale, which was honestly the only reason I finally bit the bullet to try out a LEP flashlight. I also wanted something I knew was built with quality and reliability in mind, and Fenix holds a high standard. I’ve never had a flashlight with a throw like this. Lighting up anything from 100-500m actually makes the object/trees/animals feel like it’s incredibly close because it’s so easy to see. So far max distance I’ve tested and measured with the naked eye has been 700metres, which is insane.
